I received a letter from Modero, but I have already paid. What now?

No one has to pay twice. Modero is responsible for a correct collection. If a mistake has been made, we will rectify it. That is why we ask you to check the following things and then contact us.

  1. Check the file number and creditor. Check if it's the same debt. When in doubt, contact Modero.
  2. Check your bank statements & account balance. Verify that the payment has been made correctly and completely (account number, beneficiary, communication).
  3. Provide us with your receipt. Mail or send a bank statement or transfer receipt, always stating your file number.

What does Modero do?

  1. We'll check that your payment has been registered correctly.
  2. If you have already paid, we will rectify that, of course you do not have to pay twice
  3. If something still appears to be outstanding (e.g. additional costs or partial payment), we will inform you about the remaining debt and the further steps.
