bailiff

A bailiff is a public ministerial officer who is also an entrepreneur. In his official capacity, he performs exclusive legal tasks, such as serving court documents and enforcing court decisions. As an entrepreneur, he takes on assignments for which he shares jurisdiction with other professional groups, such as collection agencies and lawyers - for example in the case of amicable collection.

Whatever role he plays, the bailiff always acts independently and impartially. It acts as a bridge between the court and the citizen, safeguarding the protection of the rights and obligations of both creditor and debtor, thereby guaranteeing the correct, transparent and equitable execution of legal proceedings.
