Of course, you are not obliged to file a complaint with Modero.

  • If you disagree with our way of working, you can request for mediation submit to the national ombudsman for bailiffs. This can be done via a form at www.ombudsgdw.be.
  • If you think that a bailiff did not comply with the rules, you can formal complaint submit to the National Chamber of Bailiffs reporter via https://www.gerechtsdeurwaarders.be/klachten or with the syndic chairman of the district chamber to which the bailiff belongs. After all, bailiffs are represented per district by a district chamber. These chambers are responsible, among other things, for maintaining order and discipline among the bailiffs of their district.
  • If you think it is a crime, you can contact the Prosecutor of the King directly, who will in turn deal with the complaint and, if necessary, bring the case before the competent court.
