Modero supports reconstruction of the écoles libres de Pepinster after a severe flood

In mid-July, entire villages were wiped off the map by severe floods in our country. Pepinster, in the south of our country, is one of the hardest hit regions. The flood caused buildings to collapse. As a result, Pepinster's school was also seriously damaged.

Many children who go to school there come from severely affected families who have lost everything. Currently, there are around 200 students who are no longer able to go to school. Of the three school buildings, one building was completely destroyed and in another, all furniture and materials were unusable or washed away. The need for help is enormous.

One thing is certain: Pepinster's school needs help. And Modero would like to contribute to that. We attach great importance to the social and social role that a bailiff takes on. At Modero, it is then natural that we contribute to the school. Modero wants to ensure that the children can return to a safe and warm school environment in September.

Fundraising campaign for Écoles Libres de Pepinster

The school needs money to rebuild the school and purchase teaching materials. Financial aid is for the purchase of chairs, benches and teaching materials to satchels, lunch boxes, colored pencils and notebooks for the children of the affected families. To raise this money, Modero asks all its employees to set up actions. For example, we can raise money by washing cars, baking and selling cookies, setting up shopping services, etc.

The money raised with these actions is deposited into an account that the school created for this purpose. As bailiff and godmother of the project, Maryline Langer will monitor the deposits to the account number. The disaster is close to Maryline's heart. She herself is also from the Pepinster region.

How can you help rebuild the school?

Do you also want to contribute personally or from your company to the reconstruction of the Pepinster school and provide the children with the necessary basic materials? Then you can do this by making a donation directly to account number BE41 0689 4225 6310. In the transfer notice, please state “Modero”.

Show your big heart. Give Pepinster's children back the opportunity to do what children are supposed to do: play and learn together.
