Your strengths?
- You have a bachelor's degree in Legal Practice or can present at least two years of experience in a bailiff's office;
- You have a strong affinity with judicial law; knowledge of international private law and/or real estate proceedings is an asset;
- You have a good work pace and put professional service first;
- You handle confidential information discreetly and are good at dealing with stress;
- You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently;
- You can work smoothly with MS Office software package (Outlook, Word and Excel);
- You have strong communication skills, Dutch has no secrets for you and you are fluent in speaking to people in French;
- You learn quickly and are happy to contribute ideas about process-related challenges within your service.
What does your day look like?
- You carefully prepare the files entrusted to you, carry out searches and guarantee a smooth follow-up;
- You prepare letters and legal documents (subpoenas, service orders, attachments, etc.);
- You deal with correspondence and disputes;
- You negotiate repayment plans and follow them closely;
- You communicate with internal and external stakeholders (clients, police services, CPAS, etc.). This is done by letter, e-mail or telephone;
- You ensure the efficient conduct of the legal proceedings from Modero's vision;
- You provide legal advice and support to the various teams;
- You can analyse legislation that relates to Modero's strategic challenges.
